I have tried out multiple combs and brushes for our two dogs, and this tool is the best! It will even remove the loose hair from my little terrier mutt, and works great on our long hair dachshund - for traveling and managing all that shedding, get this tool - also reduces the hair in our vehicles and I like that. For fine hair, go gentle and for longer hair, pull through carefully to remove loose hair and untangle as well - our dachshund loves it - but then again, she loves any attention!
